What do I do?

I design interiors and furniture for both new build and renovation projects.
I make 3D visualizations of interiors and architecture starting from architectural plans, measurements, or photos.
I provide advice on color and light as well as other tips to make your house or room look bigger, cozier, and more beautiful.

My biggest passion is the design of kitchens. During the design process I give a lot of attention to counter tops, cabinets, doors, colors and materials. I also help choose the best appliances available to suit the client’s needs, taking into consideration the quality and energy efficiency of the appliance as well as the space, convenience and accessibility of the appliance’s positioning within the kitchen.
In the end it is my goal to design a beautiful, safe and convenient kitchen.

Why I love kitchens?
The kitchen is the heart of the home. It is the room where family and friends gather for meals, a cup of tea, or just a conversation. Most of a home’s daily activities are centered in the kitchen. To me, this makes the kitchen the most important room in the house. Therefore it should truly represent the home owner’s personal taste, vision and style. It is the true essence of the home, and should set the tone for the rest of the house.
How do I work?
The first thing I like to do is sit down with my potential clients and talk about their plans. It is best if I can meet with them on site, so that I can get a firm idea of the room and space they have to work with. I take pictures and measurements and during our conversation, I will also take notes. I will ask organized questions regarding their vision for the room. This often helps to narrow down some of the broader visions into quantifiable aspects bringing about a more solid understanding of the expectations for the room. If the client and I both have a good feeling about each other during this meeting, I will make a casual offer with no obligations on either side. Once I have the client’s approval I will enthusiastically begin my design.
When it's not possible to come to a client’s home, we can still discuss the project over the phone or email. We can still make beautiful designs and visualizations using just pictures and plans when necessary.

As a first step in our collaboration we make a temporary design. This preliminary design will be shown using sketches and a floor plan. This way you get a global image of the new appearance of the room. I also make suggestions for materials and colors at this time. Starting from this design you can make changes and / or additions according to your personal wishes and needs.

After approval of the design, we make a final design with a detailed floor plan and several 3D visualizations.
